Baby Carriers

 I'm very proud of my baby carriers that I made. This is the green paisley one that I gave to Drea. I got the chance to try it out on Ryker. He loved it and promptly fell asleep shortly after this picture was taken.

 In this picture I tightened the wrap up and pulled Ryker up a little more on my chest. 

This felt more comfortable and secure.

The brown striped one I made. I'll give it to Savannah or keep it for myself.

 Koen and Cleo got to spend the night at our house and we had so much fun!

Baby Updates

 I used this carrier to make a pattern and made two new ones today. I'll update with pictures!

Savannah is 30 weeks pregnant!

It's hard to believe she is in her final weeks of pregnancy.

She headed back to Canada after spending three weeks at home and Spencer detained in Canada.

She will come home every few weeks for prenatal visits (and Mama visits)

and then will be home to have the baby in September.

Still praying that Spencer will be  allowed in the US for the birth.

Baby Love

We got to spend a big chunk of time snuggling with Ryker tonight. There is nothing quite as magical as holding, kissing and taking in the sweet scent of a newborn. Ryker woke up when we got there and stayed alert and calm our entire visit, which was about 90 minutes. We loved it!

When Koen got home from school he had a special gift from Grandpa and Grandma, a "Big Brother" outfit and a stuffed puppy he named Joey.

Born June 3rd at 9:17am, weighing 7 pounds 7 ounces, 19 inches long.

Still waiting for the "photo booth" pictures from Savannah's wedding.

 (They were taken by another photographer). 

I can't wait to see them, they should be fun.

Picnic at Risley Park

The weather has been beautiful around here. I got to draw out my Mother's Day bliss one more day  when I gathered some of my kids and "grandkids" and went on a picnic Monday. It was a hot day!

Koen, Regan and Masyn had fun playing at the park while we gave underdogs and caught Masyn coming down the slide. Regan and Koen made new friends and we had some good food.

Aftewards we came back to my house and filled up the kiddie pool. Masyn went wild with the hose and soaked Koen and Regan. Regan and Koen also did a great job of feeding the koi and gathering the eggs from the chicken coop. Masyn was exhausted and fell asleep in my arms in the heat of the afternoon.

What a fun day!
